My receiver from my service provider looks exactly the same as the SatCruiser models but it is rebadged with the provider name and I could not find what model it is anywhere on the box or the manual. Also I believe the firmware is different than stock models becuase it has the service provider logo in a lot of screens.
It has optical output and one embedded IRDETO CAM. Can anybody help me identify what model my receiver is?
Many manufacturers build specific models for various service providers but don't put the name on it. There is no positive way to identify what SatCruiser model it is, especially if the firmware has been designed exclusively for the service provider.
The Satcruiser 3000IR has an IRDETO embedded smartcard reader. However, I don't recommend you do any cross model / brand / label firmware upgrade. The OEM version (the one you have) may have proprietary software to facilitate delivery of the signal.
