Card slots in Satwork 3618

I voided the warranty on my Receiver and found out that the two card slots on the front of the receiver are just for show. Why they would put them in there unless there was some plan to upgrade, I don't know. Does anyone know if there is allowance on the board to hookup a cam and make these slots useful.

Thanks

The slots are only there because the manufacturer may provide other models with embedded card readers. They utilize the same plastic mold to make the piece to save on manufacturing costs
