Lightbulb Declination

Lat 25.55'50.4 Hialeah,Fl 33010
Lon 80.20'40.5
10' mesh dish polar mount
corotor II feedhorn c-ku band
My question is set up declination which i know brings dish down a bit, first when setting up polar mount axis at 26.42 when setting declination @ 3.73 degrees my dish only goes down to 10 degrees also it changes my polar mount axis i have real good pics from Global Satellite Chart--Geo-Orbit Quick-Look--Western Hemisphere--C/Ku-Band Footprints/Coverage, Specs (Design/Transponder/Bandwidth/Launch), Programming, Orbit Position/Inclination, Links i am doing something wrong but don't know what it is .Also due south were a aim located which is the sat that i could set the dish for .

Thank you

First check the mount pole is perfectly level both N/S and E/W adjust if you can with the dish on the pipe.

The true south satellite for your location should be 79 degrees tp freq. 12182 H 23000 linear KU. Closest linear KU to your location at 80.20 degrees. Declination from the charts you listed should be between 25 degree/4.23 degree declination angle and 26 degree/ 4.38 so in the middle comes to 25.55.50degree/4.30 declination angle for your location, what tool/angle finder are you using to setup the angles on the dish mount, if it's 90 degrees at the meter pointer subtract measurements from reading your after eg.90 minus 25.5degree is 63.5 degree what your shooting for to setup polar angle for your location if it's 0 degrees atthe pointer then read direct 25.5 with me so far. This thru me for a loop on my first one. Your polar axis should be 25.5 not 26 degrees as listed for your location.

You will require a meter and may have to attenuate the signal down to tune properly or a digital box and monitor looking for the above frequency to lock onto, the days of analog and oh that's good enough are over, the digital signals require very precice alignment. your corotor KU lnb should be placed at 11 oclock position in the scale ring mount, at the right depth/ Fd ratio for your dish then fine tune the skew for the best signal then recheck the dish, may have to do this two or three times to get the best signal quality but if you fine tune on a KU linear transponder the C-band will be the best you can get as well.

The thing to remember is VERY SMALL movements the diameter of a pencil lead across on the pole is the difference between on or off and take your time. Make sure to shim the mount and tighten loosely until your all lined up then finish tightening everything up. After it's all lined up and secured it's a good idea to drill the mount and pole and install a small location bolt to find true south again if you have to adjust in the future.

Don't make it complicated when it is really simple.
Your true south is AMC5, look for telemundo and align for best signal quality.
If you have your dish properly assembled you can have a very good arc.
I have a 6 footer prime focus made by Fortec and I can see from G13 @ 127°W to NSS806 @ 40.0°W.
Lots of good stuff on C band.
By the way I am located at 33023

Talking Elevation Angle ,Declination Angle

I was reading inclinometer wrong adjusted dish and hit 91 w by moving east to west I will fine tune on weekend with all the good info i have gotten here also i have to buy a motor planed to leave it fix but that would be a waste of a good BUD Learning as i go.Also good picks.(BYX that is what i aiming for)
