Not to speak for Sadoun or sound like an ass but consider this:

You bought this from someone else; someone that made the profit on the sale. This is like asking Walmart to take care of something you bought at Kmart simply because they both sell the same product.

How about contacting the manufacturer and asking them to take care of it under warranty? Even if not US manufacture they may have a warranty station in the US (and it may be Sadoun?)
