    Hi why do you think that there is something wrong with you settings? If that receiver is anything like my Viewsat Max hd receiver you will have to manual enter in all the data. I took some setup photos of my Installation check them out I have more to add can only have 5 in one post. If you want to try to find this transponders on AMC9 at 83.0 west. I think this would be your best true south satellite.
    Try freq:3804/V/sr:4167 and freq:3817/V/sr:2878. Be sure to turn OFF the 22khz switch for c band. Do you know how to manually add a satellite and a transponder on that receiver if AMC3_C Band is missing?

    Remember
    22khz switch
    ON = Ku Band
    OFF = C Band

    I'm wondering if you have your true south satellite found and have your polar mount set now? Once you do this and have it set correctly you will be able to use your Actuator/G-Box and just goto Galaxy 16 or SES2-AMC3. The most important part of the setup is setting up true south with dish/mount on it Zenith.

    Re: galaxy 16

    Hi
    using the DMX741 LNB here are the setting.
    For Ku Band set the Lo Frequency in your receiver to 10750 Mhz. Then turn ON the 22 khz switch.
    For C Band set the Lo Frequency in your receiver to 5150 Mhz. Then turn OFF the 22 khz switch.

    In my receiver I have 2 satellites for say AMC 9. The first one is labeled C_AMC 9 and all the parameters for C Band are set there. The second one is labeled Ku_AMC9 and all the parameters for Ku Band are set there. You may have to manually enter the transponder data from Lynsat for each satellite you build. The Viewsat receiver I have the blind scan doesn't work at all. I just enter the data by the remote. Takes some time to do that. There was a channel editor but Viewsat company if gone. My editor is only for Max Hd but I'll check on that.
