What is the diference between :Off set and Prime Focus antenna?

An offset dish is more egg-shaped, and has the lnb arm assembly on the bottom (think Dish Network/Direct TV type dishes, or the Fortec dish in the banner ad on this page!). The Prime Focus is a circular dish, not egg shaped, which has the lnb suspended in the center of the dish. The offset dish generally does more for its size, because there's no signal blockage by the lnb arms. If you're serious about C band you'll probably have to use a Prime Focus dish, which can get as big as you need (6', 8', 10', etc). If you're not that serious about it, like me, you can get away with the 4' (120cm) offset dish which I just posted about in the C band/4dtv section.
