Questions about my first motorized setup

Hi all! I will soon be purchasing my first motorized setup. My house is surrounded by large trees (White Oak and Maple) that are about 15 - 20 yards from where I would like to ground mount my dish. I'm thinking about going with the MK4 kit w/ invacom QPH-31.

Is the 39" dish overkill and could I get by with a smaller dish?

The best I can tell from just looking, I will be shooting thru the tree tops.

    Any Suggestions?

    Thanks!
    Brent

one thing - the sun is very close to tracking the satellites in the sky at this time of the year.

You can put up a stick and cardboard circle in the spot where you think your dish might be.

If the sun illuminates it all day long (and yeah I guess I have to say it - on a sunny day) - then your install spot should be OK for decent reception.

Wow another excellent tip, much appreciated!

I need to get up to the store and get my dish, soon, really soon!

    I think I've decided on the MK2Kit ( I think that's it)

36" dish (upgrade), motor, invacom LNB.

I have a friend that bought one and he is really happy with his setup!

Thanks again for all the help!
