question about Universal Mount - UNIVMOUNT I

I have a Universmount I and have it set up with my sg2100. It seems that every few months gravity is pushing the universmount just off level enough to throw things out of whack with the motor. Are you suppossed to have the mount set up so that the two feet coming off of the round star like thing that goes around the pole for extra support are both down the slope of the roof or is one foot suppossed to be down the slope of the roof from the main dish pole and the other foot further up the roof? I currently have them both down since it seems logical that that's the way it's suppossed to go. Am I doing this right? I ask because it looks on the product page like one of the images shows it the other way, with the foot things going up/down the slope instead of right/left below the pole.... which way is right? I'm hoping I didn't screw things up again like I seem to do pretty easily with all of this fta stuff.

Look for brianb. His avatar is his install of the mount you describe. To my knowledge he is having no problems.

I use that same mount with both support legs "downhill" from the main mast. It works okay for me and my level hasn't changed since June . My logic had to do with the possibility of wind unseating my dish more easily if I had the supports uphill on the roof. I'm using an hh90 motor with a fortec star 80 cm dish.
