True South Help

I have a wineguard 76cm antenna with a invacom qph-31 lnb. I’m looking at purchasing a sg2100 motor. The noticed the motor has a elevation setting on it and my antenna also has a elevation setting. I am lost as to how to set these elevations correctly. I have no idea what my true south is or what the closest satellite to true south is at my location. My zip code is 32568. Any, and all help is very much appreciated.

Ok your motor elevation is the same as your latitude which would be 30.8 so set motor elevation to 31 degrees latitude on the motor scale your dish angle would be 25.9 so set the dish angle at 26 degrees. your true south sat would be amc3 at 87w. a good transponder to try would be the patience channel at tp freq 11719 sr 2446. i get this channel at plus 90% quality.

Just make sure you use the latitude scale, not the elevation scale, because 31 is NOT the elevation. The elevation would be 90-31=59
As discussed in another thread, the SG2100 apparently has both elevation and latitude scales.
