setting usals reference position

hi all i have a digipower diseqc h-h motor sg-2100 and a pansat 3500s and a fortec 31 inch dish what i want to do is use usals. i have found the arc for the reception. but my usals is of when i program in the corendence for a bird.so what i need to do is set the reference position for a strong bird closest to true south so how do i tell the rotor to use a selected refrence position

yes pansat is the same way but it doesnot work. seems like there is a different way to set usals reference point like a seperste menue instead of shuttling through a satallite setting you know what i mean

Are you using factory software in your Pansat or have you upgraded with aftermarket software?

OK let see if I can give you some light.
I have a Pansat 3500SD with original bin file, the frist thing to do is to setup and add satellite. Select the satellite that you want to add once you see the check mark on the right hand side of the satellite then it going to move you to the settings for that satellite (LNB type, Signal, Skew, etc) move all the way down to what it says Positioner Settings, using the arrow keys (left or right) select USALS once you see this option press enter, the system will take you to another screen where you can enter your settings for your location. Once you have entered these settings move down to the option that says save reference point. That will save your current location and use it as default whenever you enter another satellite.

I hope this helps you! Good Luck!
