My personal experience with the V-box, isn't that good! I bought one and made my own polar mount to give a motorized setup.

Things were great until I mounted up on the roof. Then I could NOT get it to repeat postions. I had it sitting in the house and hooked up and programed and it worked great. Put it on the roof with the same wiring, etc and it would not repeat positions.

Gave up and got a HH-120 and things are working like they should. Also, the HH-120 uses USALS and you don't have to try and figure out where it is supposed to go.

Just for the record USALS is receiver not motor. The motor simply follows the commands issued from the receiver. So if the receiver says move west the motor moves west until the receiver issues the command to stop. Unless your motor actually houses some form of controller that could interpret instructions.

USALS is motor dependant as well. If the motor only supports DiSEqC 1.2 and not USALS (aka GOTO "X"), it ill not respond to USALS commands from the receiver.
