Very low Quality (Below 10%) and signal Strength between 55%

Hi,

I have installed a Fortec Star 33 inch Dish with a SG2100 motor.

My Latitude is 45.5 N and my Longitude is 73.8 W (Montreal, Canada)

I have set the Elevation angle of the motor to 45 degree and figured out in the SG2100 user manual that the Declinaison Angle of the dish to be 23.2 degree.

Then I have ensured that the motor is set to 0 degree and tried to align the dish to my True South (Magnetic South + 16 Degree).

Then I have set my Longitude and my Latitude in My Digiwave Diamond in the Motor settings menu and specified to uses USALS. The AMC 6 was already defined in my IRD. The Dish seem to move well and there is a green light on the Motor. I have tried the button on the motor in order to try to move it West or East and it works.

Then I have asked the IRD to point to AMC 6 (71.8W) using USALS so around 177.2 in my Azimuth.

I was able to just have a signal between 53 % to 67 % and a rough Quality of less than 10%. Those values cannot be higher, even if I try to point to other satellites.

I have tried to remove the LNB out of the LNB holder and let it point, no where and I have reached a signal strength of 64% !!!

Does My LNB is damaged?

The LNB is a Digiwave Standard KU LNBF Single Linear 780

Note I have checked that my Mast is perfectly vertical.

thanks

Regis
