m-1 motor

I am wondering how fast the motor goes between satellites. I'm sure it depends on the degree differences of the satellites, but a rough estimate would be nice. Also, does the motor make a lot of noise? I'm thinking of installing this on my roof and I sleep in the upstairs and was wondering about the noise level. Thanks so much!

Sincerely,
Vi

ps are there any differences in speed/noise level between the motors you sell?

Re: m-1 motor

About 1.2 - 1.8 deg per second depends on the voltage sent out by the receiver.

get urself a SG2100A motor it goes faster than the Satcontrol IMO..(that is if you want speed) im sure the Satcontrol is of better quality than the SG2100.. and the motors dont make much noise at all.

Are all receivers able to control the motor or do I need a specific one?

yes most FTA receiver should be able to control using Diseqc 1.2 ... but look for both that and USALS.. (aka GOTO X function)
