about 33" dish and sg2100 motor?
hello guys, thanks for ur help when i needed u guided me in the right direction, now my dish is working, i'm able to see 97W and 123W so i believe i'm ok with the track on the arc,, now here is my question, i can get signal on 123Wwhen i'm close to the dish , i'm far abouts 50 foot from the dish and i have an inline signal amplifier, i can get about 50% quality on 97 when i'm home but on 123 i got no quality at all, when close ( i mean, 2 meters from the dish i got quality,) but when far at home i got no quality, i did not skew the lnb , here is another question the way i tried to find the signal was with a circular lnb , at the receiver on usals i put my longitude and latitud then i tried to find 82 wich is the closest to the south, i used circular cuz a friend told me is easy to find signal with a siganl meter , circular lnb and 82, so i did it the dish moved to 82 , i put my latitud to the motor and put the elevation to the dish and played with the right and left direction to find dome signal at about 82, easier i found 82 so i fine tuned elevation on 82 at the best point on quality, then i tried to find the most west circular polarity one wich i think is 119, not sure, so i moved my dish and it foud signal really good i mean about 85 to 90% wich is good, then i replaced the lnb circular for the linear lnb, and tried to find 123 and i got it and got about 60% no more, moved the dish up and down , nothing same all, right left, nothinf same all so tha's the best i can get, i did not skew the lnb, but reading about i found that may i have to turn the lnb, in wich way sure i try both? i'm at 79.6 longitude and 44.4 latitude, in canada, any help will be aprecciated, one more? at the east , will i able to get any sats at all? wich ones, i havent try yet. thanks in advance for ur help. =D>

Re: about 33" dish and sg2100 motor?
Does not seem like your dish tracks the arc correctly. You will need to tweak your dish again.
ONce the dish is properly alligned, the skew will automatically change when the dish moves from one sat to another.
Read the SG2100 manual, there is a section show how to tweak the dish.
