looking for my true sud satellite

hi.i am new .hello every one .
now i like to know what will be the satellite name to look for when i setup my motor and my dish .
my location is [latitude 42.5980
[longgitude 82.3614
using a gigiware hh 990 or sg2100 same thing .24x28 inch dish .o know i need a at least a 30 inch .but i am only looking for 3 satellite to the west .
my azimuth[true] is 180.0 .
so at 180 degree what be the satellite name .
or is the name showing when i move the dish east to west .
i did usebig bud since 1984 till 2007 but this all new to me .

use the dish calculator on Sadoun.com, select your motor, and location and it'll tell you where to point it

thank you .i did all that .
so i just fallow all the setting from dish calculator.
i be setting it up only after i move to my new place the fisrt week of july .
if i get into trouble i will get back to you .

but after using the big bud for over 20 years i should be doing ok setting it up .

An azimuth of 180 degrees is conceptually due south. You need to offset that angle by magnetic north if you are finding it by a compass. You can also find it by a solar angle calculation on the internet that gives you a shadow of a pole at a certain time of day for your location.

You are, if you are 82.3W (west or east?.. big difference) then there is a good satellite at 83W that has some good stations. Check lyngsat.com for the possible stations for that sat.

83W is the sat to use for your due south satellite. Good luck.
