Help Please sg 2100 motor

i have an sg2100 motor on an 33'' dish i bought the motor a dish together anyways the dish is about 4 foot off the ground if i put the motor barcket on 49 and the dish bracket on 23 like the book saids the dish is pointed towards the ground and cant pick up anything if i put the motor bracket on 15 and the dish bracket on 5 i can pick up nimiq 1 nimiq2 & echostar 3 with no problem am i doing something wrong ? does the dish need to be so far off the ground ? thanks for any help i am in Indaina i am using an viewsat xtreme reciver i did befor last winter now i want to pick up the rest of the sattilites that i can thanks for the help

What part of IN are you in? 49 is way to high for the motor providing you are setting the latitude side scale. Send some pics as it sounds like you have something built wrong. What are you picking up off the sats you listed?

about a hour south of south bend yes on the latitude side
channels on nimiq1 from 00050 to 00780 singal 75 Q 75
channels on nimiq 2 00119 to 09212 signal 75 Q 74
i delited 61.5 sence i was messing with it today i will send pictures
later when i get the camara back today thanks

I'm about 40 Minutes from South Bend (WEST), and My Settings are around 25 on Dish(36") and 40 on the Elevation Side of the Motor Bracket .

i set the dish at 25 and the motor at 40 i get singal at 80 but no quality i moved the dish left to right up and down but quality stays at 0 thanks for the help

do you have the motor mounted with the shaft pointing down?

What is the brand of dish? What is the lnbf? What are your settings in the reeciver for the LO on the lnbf?

i dont remember the kind of dish but i went back to ebay and the one that looks like the one i bought is a winegard ds 2076 33" i bought a diffaint lnb because i thought that use the problem so the lnb is universal circular & linear dual lnb 119& 118
trying to set true south at AMC 86.1
lnb type universal
high 10600
low 11000
tp freq 11716
did i use north and west or east and south

Why are you wanting 119 & 118? There is nothing on either of those sats that is FTA. It all requires a sub to DN.

I am not wanting 119 and118 i am trying to get the rest of the birds with this dish I get nimiq 1 and nimiq2 and echostar 3 now I know there are alot more birds then that that i can get so are you saying i am useing the wrong lnb? Do i need to use the one that came with the dish? Like i said i thought something was wrong with the lnb that came with the dish that is why i bought the other one I read about people picking up 20 or 25 birds that is what i want to do thanks for the help

You will need a linear lnbf to pick up the free FTA channels.

all i want to do is pick up the fta birds that the dish was made to pick up when i bought the dish the person said i could pick up 25 0r 30 fta birds thanks for the help

What is the lnbf you are currently attempting to use? Make & model. That si the starting point. Your receiver is not configured properly but none of us can tell you what to set the receiver at until you tell us what the lnbf is.
