As Bob stated the switch goes between the motor and lnbf. I run multiple dishes with one being a little dish (36") that is motorized. The others are big dishes. The 4DTV receiver is fed from one dish and those lines are split at the dish. The offshoot runs over to the little dish mount and connect to the
DiSEqC switch. The other big dish is for FTA so it just runs single line ot the DISEqC switch. From the FTA receiver the line goes to the motor then to the switch, then lnbf. As
Sadoun stated for any sats I watch from either big dish the positioner is set to none as with the one dish it is stationary andthe other's position is controlled by the 4DTV receiver.
Clear as mud?
If you ran the system with the DiSEqC switch between the receiver and motor you may have burnt it out and need another.
