Question New Install - HELP

I have researched alot about the satellites, and things. But when it comes to setting everthing up, I get lost. I have the Mercury II receiver. The 80CM Fortec Star Dish, and the SG2100 Sadoun Digipower Motor. I'm trying to get things working, BuT!

My location: Graham, NC 27253
Latitude: 36.030967W Longitude: 79.381384 N

The satellite I'm supposed, to be aimin for (True South), is AMC 5. 79 degrees W.

Can someone help me. Another question. When things are setup, will it go to the satellite I choose on the receiver, or do I have setup everyone I want. Here lately, I had to go out with my signal meter, hook up, and move the motor manually. Here lately, I haven't gotten any signals whatsoever. Somebody I know can help. I think this is cool. I did receive AMC4 (by accident), great picture and sound.

set the motor to zero aim the whole assembly with a compass to true south then use usals to move the dish to your true south sat move east and west on pole to you get a lock no lock try raising or lowering the dish by 1 degree and try east and west again continue this process to you get a lock on your true south sat adjust for best signal move to the next sat untill you can get all of them in the arc.

Your dish elevation should be 30 degrees MINUS your declination which for your latitude is 5.77.

***BUT*** this elevation is probably off by 5 degrees.

My elevation is 30 minus 6, but when correcting for the dish error my actual dish elevation is 29.

If you don't figure for that elevation error, you will never find the satellites.
