Re what angle on the motor shaft corresponds to what satellite, this depends on your latitude and longitude compared to the longitude of the satellite. There are a couple commercial web pages that calculate this angle, but I also have this as part of my declination angle calculator... ie:

Down at the bottom there is a USALS Motor angle calculator.
Basically you enter YOUR longitude, and the longitude of the satellite in question, and it uses the latitude already entered at the top, and the calculator figures out what angle the motor needs to turn relative to it's zero, south position to get to the satellite.
