H180 mounting pole specifications issue

H180 mounting pole specifications issue:

the specs for the motor say "55 to 72" mm

My current poles OD is 3"

72mm equates to 2.85".

Will the H180 mount on a 3" OD pole or not? Is there enough leeway to squeeze it in?

the specs says 55 to 72 mm so as long as your pole is between 55 and 72 mm you should be fine.it may be a tight fit on a 3 inch pole try putting the clamps on and see if they will fit and move the way you need if no you may have to weld a smaller pipe inside the 3 inch to bring the size down.
