Long time no see! I've been out of Arlington for two years now, and I miss my huge horizon! Down in a valley now with a limited horizon due to bluffs and trees. I'm putting in a C-band dish right now and I'm looking forward to better programming. I got rid of the Sadoun 1.8m dish and that Motek mover before I ever installed them. The old-school mesh BUDs seem a lot sturdier with less issues.

My old Solomend did that. After trying the boot loader and checking voltages on the
board, I finally gave up and bought a new S9 from Hyper. I had stashed the old one
out in my storage shed and last December i dug it out to try and trace down the problem.
After letting it warm up enough to get rid of moisture, I hooked it up and turned it
on and I'll be darned if it booted right up! If I turn it off with the switch in the back
after it's warmed up, it will go back to hanging with "On" on the display. I put it
in the freezer for about an hour then hook it up and it boots fine. I've been just
shutting it off with the remote and all is well as long as we have no power outage.
I picked up a can of circuit freeze to try to nail down the problem one of these days.
This does point to some type of component or circuit trace failure.
