Testing out a new OTA antenna

Got this antenna a few weeks ago from an Internet distributor, a 4-bay cage with a rotor and preamp. Had it inside, mounted on a tripod for testing. Then I installed it outside on an old satellite mount. Am very impressed so far, works better than my roof mounted antenna. Not sure how long it would last up on the roof so for now it stays near the ground, about 6 feet up. Only thing I have not figured out is how the remote works, as it is somewhat quirky. But this antenna has performed well beyond my expectations.

    Jim-S,

Much better, at least in my location. It has the advantage of being on a rotor so you can point it at station desired. Must also have a pretty good preamp too.
