I hope I didn't make an oops. I put in the
SG2100 a week or two ago, (see previous posts) and have a Fortec Star receiver on the way which should arrive today or tomorrow to replace the smallear ST-7700 I have now. I read a blurb on one of the forums about needing to use the
STAB along with the Fortec for USALS operations. The motec booklet says it's desqc 1.2 compliant, doesnt' say anything about 1.3 or USALS compliant. Is the USALS not going to work with the
moteck?? The moteck says that it has the goto x feature. Doesn't the USALS receiver tell the
actuator to goto x direction based on the lat/long inputed to the receiver? Also the sat positions, are the postions stored in the reciever or in the actuator?? If the moteck isn't USALS compliant are there any workarounds in order to use the USALS feature in the Fortech. That's why I ordered the Forteck so I didn't have to guess what sat I'm
aiming at and then go thru a number of transponders and sr's to determine what I'm looking at.
