TAN 2 on AMC4

I show on Lyngsat that Tan 2 (MBC) is FTA on AMC 4. Can anyone verify this before I move the dish?

Just did a quick check this morning (Jan 25) and TAN-2 on AMC4 is still scrambled.

I wouldn't bother repointing your dish. The only Korean channel I find in the clear right now on AMC4 is CGN TV.

If your dish is pointing at T5, you can get CGN and JSTV in the clear. It looks like the rest of KISB is scrambled again.

I remember, TAN4 (education channel?) was in clear last time. I will check it when I get home.

There is an FTA TAN channel on 97w now in KU. Listed as a persian channel but it is in english and showing fairly new movies comercial free along with some music videos. But the video quality is realy bad. Yesterday they where showing that computer animatied movie about a hunted or living house Don't know the name. But it was a small window maybe 2/3s of the screen and video too bad to watch. There web site sats under construction.

Same abbreviation, different content: TAN on 97W is "TeleAuction Network"
http://www.globecastwtv.com/ch_tantv.htm
TAN TV on AMC4 is a Korean pakage:
http://www.tantv.com/
....
However, MBC, which is TAN2 on AMC4, is available on 97W as KISB-1
