    East-West limits

I have a Stab HH120 motor and FortecStar Ultra receiver. How do I change the factory set limits on the motor? I have looked at both manuals and don't see anything. Thanks.

... I need the motor to rotate the dish 74 degrees west of my true south position (120 deg) to 166E. My limits are set at 65 degrees. Thus I need another nine degrees of rotation west. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to try something, (you'll need to give up stuff to the east), read this thread:

    Thanks for the reply pmb,
I will study those posts, but that sounds like more of a compromise than I was hoping for. I have many birds east of me that I don't want to give up (eg SBS 6). I thought "H-H" meant "Horizon to Horizon". Oh well.

You did say "any help"...

Think of the guy with his house in the bottom of a deep valley, and his neighbor with his house at the top of a mountain peak. Gives a new perspective on what H-to-H can mean, doesn't it?

Another option (although it will cost $) is install a fixed dish pointing to it and add a diseqc switch.
