Which HH motor to purchase?

I'm looking to purchase a complete FTA system. I'm going with the 90cm dish, since I will be trying to receive analog signals and figured the larger dish would be useful. The complete systems come with a HH90 motor by default.

Would purchasing a HH100 or HH120 instead of the HH90 be of any extra benefit?

Analog signal?? on which sat? As of today, there are no 24/24 active analog channels. There is an analog slate (colour bars) on AMC9, that's it.
Most DVB FTA receivers are designed for digital. Satcruiser used to have a digital/analog combo receiver but was discountinued last year. Analog receivers are cheap on ebay. You can buy one and slave it to your DVB receiver. But don't expect lots of analog feeds nowadays.

It's mostly for sports backhauls. MAC teams are still using analog signals, unfortunately.

So will the HH100 or HH120 motor be of any additional benefit to the 90cm dish?

Re: Which HH motor to purchase?

I don't have the STab 90 so I can't speak about its performance. I am using STab100 with 90cm dish, extremly happy with it. Read the specs, the HH90 can handle up the 90cm, HH100 is up to 100cm and HH120 is up to 120cm dish. So if you can afford the HH100 or HH120, go for either one since it handles the larger dish better. In other words, 90cm dish is the max which HH90 can handle, so it might be not a good idea to put up a max dish size which puts max pressure on the diseqc mount. Just my opinion since I don't have the HH90.
