SM3D12. Problem to return to saved position.

PLEASE HELP me out. My set up:
-Fortec Ultra (ver 2.39 NTSC).
-SM3D12 motor.
Got good quality signal on all Sat. I saved:
-G10R at #27.
-AMC3 at #28.
-T5 at # 29
-AMC4 at #30 and so on.
However, my motor only responds when i change channel that belong to #27 and #28 location which the first two locations that i saved. The motor does not move at all when i select any other Sat (AMC4, T5 etc...) :?: . Anyone has same problem? PLEASE REPLY!!!
Thanks in advance.

Use USALS, it is more precise and reliable. Motor has 30 poslible memory locations and 27 of them are alrady in use and preprogrammed and there seems to be no way to change it.

I have to agree... USALS works so well with the Ultra and the SM3D12 motor it's silly not to use it. And you have the latest firmware that fixed the bugs early on with Ultra and USALS.

You must have accurate latitude & longitude to enter into the setup screen in the ultra, the more accurate the better... if you know someone with a GPS unit you can get almost "on the dot" (within a few feet) numbers.

Good luck.

THANK YOU ALL. USALS. IT WORKS.

Thank you guys. USALS works great for me. However, there is one problem. I attached a circular LNB on a side of linear LNB. If using USALS, i can't not lock on any Sat (D*N & B*V) that requires cicular LNB. Any suggestion? is there any LNB able to receive both Linear and Circular signal :?:

Sure. If you attached your circular LNB to the right of your regular lnb, it is probably somwhere aroud 4 degrees off. So if you go to let's say Nimiq 1 in antenna setup, and go to usals, you can change Nimiq 1's satelitte position to be 95W insted of 91W. This will move it to exactly where you want it to go. Don't forget to hit Store in usals menu or otherwise it will go back to 91W when you exit.
