rotor wont turn

I have a pansat 2500a and a hh120 after sitting overnite in the off position the rotor wont turn I have to reboot receiver 4-5 times to get rotor to turn???
Then it will work again until I let the unit sit for extended period of time?

I found out it was in the usals memory of the recevier which is defective
