HH120 and adverse weather

I just purchased a complete system, Lifetime Ultra receiver,36 dish, with the HH120 motor. My question is, Can the adverse weather conditions like the extreme cold temps we occasionly get here in Indiana affect the HH motor's operation in any way? If so is there any remedies, I have heard that some dish motors can freeze up and not operate during extremely cold temperatures.
Thanx,
Parroty

I sent this same question to Sadoun support in an email and got the same result, NOTHING. I thought this was a legitamite question as well as the other questions I had about my FTA system. But I guess not. I guess from now on I'll look elsewhere for any questions I may have concerning their equipment since they seem to not want to answer a customers concerns.

Hi parroty40:

Sorry, I guess we miss some posts. I can't speak for Sadoun as I'm not affiliated with him, at least not with his business concerns. We all try to answer all posts but some fall through the cracks. Yours was one of them. ops:

Anyway, I have the HH100 motor and it works fine in all weather extremes even in Toronto winters, which I suspect are a bit milder than Indiana winters; however my answer to your question is -- HH motors are not affected by cold temperatures. I'm talking about the STAB kind made in Italy -- not sure about the other brands.

What are your other concerns? I see only two posts under your nick.

The answer to your question is actually listed on the website.

Look here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/STAB/HH120.htm
It is under Operating Temperature -40C to +80C
That pretty much covers the whole earth.

We get 100s of emails every day. we don't have the time or capacity to answer each one. That is why we have these forums. And it seems that the forum works, since you are reading this message now.
