Need Help Setup SG2100 with Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra

On the SG2100 motor there are two scales setting on one side it marks as latitude and elevation on the other side which scale I should use. My location is 122.8W, 45N.

when I tried to align to Galaxy 10R which is true south satellite, I got strong signal and quality on Galaxy 10R/C on the fortecstar lifetime Ultra receiver but no quality on Galaxy 10R/Ku. I really wonder since both @ 123W longtitude.

Is there a trick to align dish with compass to true south, it is not easy to be within few degree change.

Thank you

Re: Need Help Setup SG2100 with Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra

Use the LAT scale, set it at 45. Something is really wrong with your receiver setup becuase Ku dish can't pick up C-band signal.
Make sure you set the LO correctly.
Make sure you use active transponders when tuning the dish.
Check out the link below for instruction of setting up h-h mount:

make sure your universal ku lnb is set to 10750, your probably picking up a freq, but probably a encryted one. There is a formula to convert ku to c band and ir, not sure exactely what it is.

No correct. LOF for universal lnbf is: low 9750 high 10600. I have no idea why you want to convert Ku freq to C-band freq?????
