I have a
HH90 with FORTEC STAR 90cm KU Band Offset Dish Antenna.
Model FC090CM dish
I am at
Latitude 28.0° N
Longitude 82.5
(Tampa fla area)
dish elevation is supposed to be 40.3 deg
My questions are ,
With a
STAB motor setup do i have to allow for declination when installing or do i just point it at 180 deg ?
There is about a 3 deg diff between TRUE South and Magnetic south here.
I see in the Ultra setup there is an area in STAB setup where I set my location.
Does the ird calc the declination for me, or do i have to point the dish
at 183 deg to obtain true south?
There is a setting in the ultra where i set my location.
Does this affect the dish position?
I have the latitude on the motor set to 28 deg.
Is 40.3 deg
dish elevation correct ?
When doing the P calculation I come up with approx 26 deg of elevation , but the email sent to me by USALS.info says 40.3 .
Any and all advice / clarification would be appreciated.
Thanks , Zimmer
