Question on signal quality of different transponders

I have a SG2100 motor and Coship CDVB5300 receiver. I found that if I move my motor to maximize the quality of one transponder, the quality of other transponder from the same satellite (like T5) does not increase, it would decrease. Like different transponder from the same satellite has different position for maximum quality. I don't understand how this could happen. Has anyone seen that happened? Can anyone explain that? Thanks

This may be due to interference from an adjacent satellite, or from the opposite polarity on the same satellite. Be sure you have the polarization set exactly, to "null out" interference from the other pole. If the dish is too small, it can sometimes see interference from an adjacent bird.

Thanks. I have a 76 cm dish. Do you think my dish is too small? Also what do you mean about "have the polarization set exactly, to "null out" interference from the other pole"? Do you mean the transponder setting for polarization? I can either select "Hor" or "Ver". If I select the wrong polarization, I won't seen any channel.
