Help on Motors and Watching Sat 5, Sat 12 , G10 R

Hi

I am interested to purchase a complete package from
Sadoun but I have few questions which I need help. ( I callled
Sadoun Inc but no one really got back to me which is
kind of frusterating). I am interested to purchase :
M-II Motorized DVB786v3 Choice Set and maybe with HH100
motor. I was wondering if I will be able to see FTA programming
for Sat 5, Sat12 and G10r. ( i need the sat12 and g10r for
Italian programming). I live in Boston, MA and currently
use Dishnetworks. Also, how good and dependable is
fortec? I have not herd good things about it. The only reason
I am going with motorized is because of Italian channels.
If the Italian signal is not easy to find then I may go
with Sat cruiser.

PS. are the dishes from Sadoun company brand new or
are they refurbished?
Thanks
Leo

We apologize for not getting back with you as we have been busy fullfilling web orders and backorders. Some of our employees are also on vacation and it is making it a little harder to get back on the phone with callers.

We will be adding more staff to help answer callers' inquiries. In mean the time, please utilize this forum to ask questions and find answers. We have a lot of experienced and helpful members that will not hesitate to provide you with answers.

The dishes we sell are new. Once you use a dish you can't sell it as new again since it gets scratched.

Re: Thanks for your reply but

Please verify what you meant by saying "SAT 5" and "Sat 12".

For sure, you will get T5 and G10R. For T12, it depends on where you live.

T5, T12, and G10R

Hi Leo,

According to www.lyngsat.com all 3 sats you want are viewable from North America.

Good luck,

Hey Leo:

Like Michael says, the only "maybe" is Telstar 12, but if you check out this bird's footprint it looks like Boston should be no problem.

---> http://www.loralskynet.com/glb_fleet_12.asp

If you really want this bird bad then upgrade to a larger dish when you place your order with Sadoun - just to be certain you get good signal on T12; the other two are no problems at all.

Check out the link below to get your Long and Lat.
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installati...Calculator.htm
Your truesouth sat (center and highest of the satellite arc) = your long. Then check the rotation angle of the h-h mount.
You should not have problem with T5 and G10R, but T12 is a bit far towards East, so you will have to check the rotation angle of the h-h mount to see if it can reach T12.
Good luck

Good point Mikey...

While I think of it, if you do order a larger dish (larger than 1 meter) make sure you order the HH120 motor.
