New Introduction in USA: STAB HH90

We just received our new shipment of the "NEW" STAB HH90

This is the smallest (the baby) of all the HH motors we offer and could handle a dish up to 90CM comfortably.

We will be posting pictures and specs shortly.

It will be posted here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Motors.htm

Cool !!!!

I always thought the HH100 and HH120 were overkill for the 76 cm dishes we usually use.

I agree that he is bringing the good stuff from Europe! However, when is the new Stab HH90 motor going to be for sale? It's not on the website yet. I'd like to get my hands on one these babies.

By the way, nice pictures Bakshishmarrakech.

I don't have HH90 so I can't speak for it. According to the specs:
1. Both are USALS compatible.
2. Rotation angle: SM3D12 (+/-50), Stab (+/-65)
3. Dish size: SM3D12 (up to 1.2m), Stab (up to 95cm)
4. Antenna weight: SM3D12 (12kg, 27lbs), Stab (10kg, 22lbs)
.....
If you plan to put up a dish larger than 95cm, you might consider Stab 100/120 or SM3D12.
About the built quality, I like the STab. I am using a Stab 100 which drives a 1m dish without any problem. I also have the SM3D12 with 90cm, no problem either. Once I can find a 1.2m dish locally, I will put it on the SD3D12 to see how it handles a larger dish.

Michael,

Thanks a lot for your comments. I'm doing the homework to determine which one to get. I plannig to buy 3 of these (so far the SM3D12 has the advantage) with in the next week.

Angel.

Where are you located and which satellites would you like to view. I tried the SM3D12 in Massachusetts and it couldn't move to Galaxy 10R. The rotation angle was too small. Otherwise, it worked okay with the Lifetime Ultra. However, I use the Stab HH100 and it works very well. I personally recommend the Stab products. They are very well built.

For 1.2 M dishes you have the following buying options:

1- Consolidate: Find a couple more people in your area who might be interested in buying the same size dish. Contact us. We will give you a better price. The shipping and handling will be lower when you divide it over several dishes. For example 3 dishes will cost around $120-200 to ship by ground to a residential address. Business delivery address wiill cost less.

2- If you are or driving by Columbus, OHIO, stop by and pick up a dish (or dishes for you and your friends) . That way you will save anywhere between $90-150 on shipping and handling per dish.

3- I have a couple of demo 1.2 m dishes (some scratches or dengs, but work just fine) that I will be happy to give to "active" members of this forum. You pay the shipping or come over and pick it up free of charge. Call me or email me (us PM) before stopping over to make sure it is still available.

VERY tempting... it would cost me $80 in gas though...
