Available HH Motor for 6' prime focus dish?

Does anyone know of a HH motor that will work with the 6' prime focus dish?

I think H-H motors can handle dishes up to 1.2meter (36''). For dishes of that size you need an actuator and a polar mount.

ajax used to make h-h motors for big dishes, there were a couple of other brands as well, they are probably no longer made but you could do a search and check e-bay.

Using a H-H motor on big size dishes I think is not a good idea. Reason for that is that the big size dish is much more affected from winds that can easily off set it (azimuth )enough to give you trouble in reception. Using an actuator is much better due to the triangle in between the polar mount and the motor( actuator ). This way the dish is firm solid and will never move unless the motor moves it.

h-h motors were used for years on big dishes. They are much more accurate on ku than an actuator besides they give you the whole sky, not just part as is the case with an actuator. The main drawback was the cost.
