No problem!
Just finished my first motor installation. it took about an hour, i used USALS. I almost gave up when it would find my south satellite but nothing else. It turned out the mount was very very slightly unlevel. maybe 1/4 inch. but after fixing that it hits all of them that are in view. pretty cool.

Good job! You are probably getting familiar with Lyngsat and SatcoDX websites already... I just got a subscription to "World of Satellites" myself.

I use the old Dish/ExpressVu linear LNBs; these are standard LNBs - available in both single and dual output models. They are very reliable -- but they're getting hard to find...

Dish and Bev used linear LNBs?? hehe I didn't know that.
Ya wouldn't happen to know where I might get one of those sent COD to Ontario or some other linear LNB would ya?
By the way... I've seen many different sides to this question and need some clarification....
I have a Microyal SW-22 22KHz switch that I will be using for the two LNBs. Some say a Universal LNB won't work with a switch, some say it will...... could anyone clarify this for me one way or the other?
One more question... someone told me Universal LNBs were not linear... is this true? Based on many other posts I've seen I htought they were.

Only BellVu used linear in early days.
Some DN birds are using linear, such as 105 and 121.

Yes, Bell ExpressVu used linear LNBs when they were beaming off the Anik satellite; with the launch of Nimiq 91 they switched to circular polarity LNBs, exactly like Dish Network. The old linear LNBs were made for ExpressVu by Dish Network - in fact, Bell ExpressVu used to be called "DishNetwork Canada" ......
Hey skelp; where in Ontario are you? I can hook you up with a good linear LNB if you need it.
kat
BTW: yes, universal LNBs are linear.
