SM3D12 Help

Well I installed the new motor today but so far I have not been able to get the motor to move at all.

It has 2 tiny switches on the motor itself that according to the directions will move either east or west depending on what switch you press in.

I've tried both switches and all that happens is I hear one tiny click sound.

I have it plugged into my twinhan 1020 card so I thought maybe it's not getting enough power. So I tried a dish network reciever a direcTV reciever and a Big Dish reciever. But the results were the same every time.

I just heard the little click.

I'm really lost as to what to do next. Any help will be Appreciated.

I read some posts and saw that the cable you use is a big deal. So I swapped out my old cable
and replaced it. Did a very short cable run to the reciever and the motor started moving.

Finally some success. Then I took 50 feet of cable and tried it. It worked again.

Then I took the 50 foot cable and installed it and it stopped working.

I think it's the end connectors at the end of the cable that is causing the problem.

I'm going to work on it.

Also try it without the LNB and/or any switches attached.
I also read that switches can short and cause the motor to not work.

Well I replaced the end connecters and tried about 5 different short length cables and all I'm getting now is just the click noise.

I give up. I just don't get it.

did you replace the ends on the short cables, too?

did you make sure there is no shorts between center and shield?

I'd try this:
Disconnect your motor. Connect a volt meter to the shield and center conductor. Attempt with your software/card to simulate to move motor. See any voltage?
