Take a look at http://www.dvbresource.com they have a review about
the ds-2076 dish and a work around for the lower elevation problem.
Also I remember reading somewhere that there is a winegard technical
bulletin out on that problem. Theres a bolt that you turn around that will
get you down to 20.5 degrees. To go any further you have to change the
angle of the mounting post.
Best Luck!

Need help with FreeVu DCD2100

I have the dcd2100 receiver and been trying to get it to work, but no luck. I'm in NYC and trying to view the Telstar5, but got no signal on the receiver. Only 10% quality of the signal. If anyone out there knows how to help me get this going, will be greatly appreciated.

found out that I didn't have to modify the wineguard dish at all. The labeling of the degrees was incorrect on my dish. 30 deg was actually 20 and so on. My dish had to be at I think 26 degrees or something like that. On the degree label it shows as being 36, but is actually 26. I did turn the bold around and it would give you another 5 or 10 deg to play with, but like I said didn';t have to.

freevu dcd2000, hh motor, wineguard 76cm dish.
