True Sat

Go in the installation section of sadoun's website, go to the azimuth and elevation section of the site. Choose your city or enter your long. and lat. and check for the satellite that will give you 0 skew.

Hi emad666,

Thanx for the reply. I went to the site, but I cannot find a 0 skew satellite to my true south location. The closest I've come to is 1.2 skew and the satellite is Anik E2. Should I calibrate my HH120 to Anik E2 and see if I can get all the channels first? Also, HH120 only moves azumith not elevation correct? I mean, my elevation is 34, but Anik E2 is at 50, does the HH120 go to 50 when it rotates to E2 at 181.4 Azumith?

Sorry if I have confused you.

Thanks.

Depending on where you live, you have to adjust your magnetic declination. Since you live in Maine your true south should be 180+16=196 degrees.

Dish Elevation = P - (60 - Latitude)
