problems setting up a hh motor

Hi i have a orion reciver and a stab hh100 motor im trying to set this up what do they mean true south? i can get some sats but when I try to use usals i get nothing. What im trying to do is set the dish lnb to face 180 degrees is that true south? also the east and west set up on the usals i need to minus 14 is that done on the west or east or what as im confused thanks again.

USALS is very confusing. Try using the Arion receiver in non-USALS mode first. The 14 you refer to is probably the magnetic deviation for your area. Your "true south" would be 180 +/- 14 degrees. Sadoun has a chart to show magnetic deviation for different parts of the continent. Check out the HH motor installation support section on the site.
