SG2100 moves wrong way-East for West???

If the USALS works, it will be a big advantage for you. Notes, let assume the USALS works, the dish only moves slightly when you select G11R becuase there is only 1/2 deg difference between your Long and G11R location.
Important: Make sure you key in your Lat/Long correctly.
Also, what software version of the receiver?
FYI: If it is 2.19, it's fine. If it is 2.18, the quality bar does not react quickly

Yes, USALS does appear to work with the Lifetime and Moteck SG2100.
I've got v.2.18, so yes, I need to update the firmware. I've read the
flash/install instructions and don't expect any problem with that.

Monday, I started installing the SG2100/Fortec Dish without much understanding at all. After going over this thread, which I copy & pasted to a .txt file, there doesn't seem to be much mystery about it left. I think I have a pretty good handle on it now.

But it now looks like it will be next week before I can do any more on it. I
have to catch up on some "falling behind" work. Sorry this thread was so long, and thanks for taking the time to help. I think I have a good
clear understanding in my head now. That's a lot better starting point than I had last Monday!
