Thanks to the following parameters:
• Longitude and latitude of the
installation's site
• Satellites' geostationary positions
USALS enables the calculation of the angles of rotation to point perfectly the antenna motorized by the
STAB motors, with a precision of -/+ 0.5°.
Every time you change channel to a new one, located on a different satellite than the one initially pointed, the calculation is made in the receiver and transmited to the motor.
No need to memorize anymore the positions of the satellites.
New satellites can be added at anytime by introducing their names and positions.
How does the USALS system work?
USALS enables the installation of a
motorized system by non professional :
• Install the antenna on the motor,
• Incline the motor in order to introduce the latitude of the installation site, by using the graduated scale of the motor,
• Connect the receiver to the motor by using a good coax cable (REC input).
• Switch on the receiver, select a satellite and the coordinates of a channel (Transponder, LNB frequency, H/V, symbol rate, etc…)
• Enter the latitude and the longitude of the installation site, then the motor will move and stop.
• Incline the antenna in order to get the best reception. Use the bar graph of the receiver (connect LNB to the motor) or a field strength meter (connected to LNB).
• Tighten all screws.
Your system follow the curve of the satellites you chose to reach.
Max opening angle of 65° East and 65° West of the installation site.
