Need help designing a multi receiver Dish Network system

I am looking at creating a multi-receiver for a 20 room motel that I own. I'm interested in using the Dish Network.

I know that I need a receiver for each channel that I want to distribute to each room and it appears that I use a Headend Combiner to connect all of the receivers together.

I guess where I kind of lose it is on the dish side... I'm looking at just providing the basic channels (no HDTV or HBO, etc) so the questions are -

1) How many dishes do I need?
2) How do I break out the cable from the dish to multi-receivers?
3) Can I use the 322 Dual tuner receiver versus two 311 receivers?

Anything else I may not be thinking of?

Any help would be appreciated!
Tim

What might work is to give Dish network a call as they should have bussiness / commercial type licenses or similar for the sim cards / receiving and royalty to use their system channels.

Dishes :
You should be able to get away with say maybe 2 or 4 max directv / dish network type but would be nice and better for signal if you can get say 90cm / 36" type dishes just to compensate for weather maybe even bigger.
Not sure.

You can even include some FTA channels for your guest's.

Likely it will use 1-4 dishes and split it to several receivers / modules that can do the receiving. Dishes also depend on your buildings = 1 or multibuildings = 2 or multi dishes and maybe for split buildings each can have it's own dish + breakout box type + receivers to serve each building as cable length = problem.

Also for multi buildings / long cable runs look for IPTV devices = 1 central location for signal to tv and then via a network type cable/system you send it to each room this way you should be able to add some Pay per view movies or the like's and your equipment does not leave with the guest's.

There is actually magazines and books for getting hotel type equipment and solutions for tv distribution, Dish / Directv / Sadoun will give you advice / install the satellite part likely and or distribution to the rooms as well if you don't.

Receivers:
Sadoun or Dish / Directv should be able to help you with the best solution / parts.

Installing your satellite dish and receiver - DIY INSTALLATION SUPPORT

Multi-LNBF switch and satellite receivers setup

These links should get you started but Sadoun / Dish should be given a call / e-mail for best advice.

Also for servicing / fixing error/ problems there might be a contract type thing from Dish or the installers to fix it with minm. down time instead of you having to 3am mess with it.

Hope this get's you in the right direction.

1- one dish (dish 500) would be enough
2- Use modulators (one for each channel)
3- Yes. you will need 10 receivers for 20 channels.
4- Dishnetwork cost is $500-1,000 per channel.
