Dual LNB Issue

I ran into an issue with Dual LNB today. I had 2 receivers both are pansat 2300. One in room #1 and another in room #2. The cable is running from dual lnb to each receiver. The customer is complainnig that at night he loses all channels on the room #1 receiver. I suspected that it would be the LNB so I changed it with a new one. I started having an issue receiver #1. When receiver #2 is on a channel that's on vertical TP, receiver #1 loses signal. If switched receiver#2 to a channel on horizontal TP, receiver #1 gets all channels just fine. I thought I had a bad lnb so I changed it again but still same problem after 3 LNB's.
Changed the receiver but still had same problem. ONLY on receiver #1. receiver #2 was always OK. After few hours trying to find out what was wrong, I found a different brand dual LNB so I though I would try it. Put it on and connected both receiver. Everything came back OK.
Just to be sure, I switched that LNB with one of the other brand LNB's, I went back to the same issue. I believe the receiver somehow did not like that LNB brand. Any idea what could be the problem? BTW, I used that brand before and did not have this issue before.

Not sure but is the dual lnb is it not 2 ports one for 13/14v and the other for 17/18v , or 1 is r/v and the other is h/l.

Might depend on brand ?

I have seen remarks that with a quad you can have 1 receiver per port and it is basically 4x1 lnb unit with h/v per port / connection ?

Dual's I have seen is Fortec , Neosat , MTI and some godsell ? Still learning here.

The fortec dual has .5db while the neosat + mti has .3 and .2 ? maybe they have different way's of making / labeling it recently and this is causing the problem and might depend on brand.

Also as far as some other post have mentioned using a dual + 2x4 switch or something similar to have both h and v active and for independant/shared use for each receiver.

I stuffed up with 2x 90cm + 2x4 switch + 2 single universal lnb's + 2 receiver'instead of 2 dual's + 4x4 switch.

Maybe someone can clarify.
