I stumbled onto this program and it makes a NEWBIE live appear to be 100% easier.

Interesting at least.
SAT - Satellite Antenna Alignment (Satellite Dish Alignment)
PS> 110w = 110- in site location otherwise it resets back to 110 east or 0.
Darn I am so excited like winning the lottery.
My fortec offset 2x 90cm 1 will be at 97w permanantly and the other dish on DigiP 120 h-h motor to anywhere / Clark Belt.
So where is the Louis Laine belt LOL
Maybe I should just wait until the dishes arrives on 31 jan before messing with this, great deal from
Sadoun thanks.
Looked at dish / motor alignment help pages but seeing item + trying = me understanding. This comes from driving on the wrong side of the road in other country's for 15 years
Terms below used look at picture in the program slightly more info than on website pic. of the dish:
My understanding or close to it =
Offset :
Looks like dish stands plumb and then tips backwards toward bowed side. Top moves north towards pole side ??
Satellite Elevation Angle:
Looks like angle from horizontal at 3 o'clock to 90 deg difference between the 2 towards the flat/open side of dish.
Expected Measured Antenna:
Looks like angle from horizontal at 3o'clock towards flat/open side of dish.
Apparently for my location:
55w Intelsat 805 Offset = 25.28 , Sat Elev. Angle = 17.779 , Expected Measure Antenna = 82.50
110w Echo 8, 10 Offset = 25.28 , Sat Elev. Angle = -24.390 , Expect. measure antenna = 40.33
148w Echo 1, 2 Offset = 25.28 , Sat Elev. Angle = -49.635 , Expect. Measure Antenna = 15.09
I was thinking that this can be used to get as close to the clark belt measurements as possible for a sat one for far as possible east + 1 directly south + 1 far as possible west of one location.
