I have motorized dish and 18" dish connected to a receiver via Diseqc switch.
After installing the Invacom Quad lnb I want to combine the linear and circular outputs into a switch and from there one cable to go into my Diseqc switch and to the reciver.
My question is, what type of switch will combine the signals from my motorized dish and send them to the Diseqc, in effect that will be switch between the Diseqc and the Motorized dish.
what are you trying to receive on the 18" dish. with the quad lnb you can receive circular and linear signals on your motorized dish. also your circular signals will be better on the larger dish less rain fade.

I agree the signal probably will be better, but the setup I want to do is it possible to be done.
I want combine one circular and one linear output into a switch and the outgoing cable to go into Diseqc switch where also the cable from the 18"dish goes in.
Second Diseqc on the bigger dish will not work as the receiver sees only one of the outputs from the quad lnb, circular or linear. The one which is matching the port selection of the Diseqc switch by the receiver.
I was thinking of multiswitch 22 kHz, just not sure how many inputs I need in order to get circular and linear type of signals, 2x1 or more and also I'm not sure, if it's going to work.
I beleive, if you get 4 - way DiseqC switch, and put it between your motor and LNB, you can connect both circular and linear outputs from Invacom, and two outputs from 18" dish LnBfs, depending what you have there, if you have two dual LNBFs, it will work, if you have "twin", probably, will not.
