Well for those who remember me posting looking for an
installer in Guthrie, KY with no success I finally made the trip down. Install went flawlessly. Arrived about 2 in the afternoon on Friday and by 6 had it all operational. This was a complete install including drilling a hole through a brick wall. Most of what slowed me down was very little resources available in Guthrie (like a mile long drill bit to go through the wall). An interesting observation though. When installed in Indiana the dish (80cm Fortec) had the 5 degree issue. When I set the motor for latitude in KY the dish fell right into line. May be off a degree but no more.
I also noticed when there that the motor (SMD312) has both scales on it as does the
SG2100. About ready to ditch the
QPH-031 for a UNI lnbf though. Quite a bit of
Spanish programming falls into the range to low for the standard lnbf. Fun lnbf but I really think unless you are combining DN and FTA not worth the money and actually harmful to receiving all that is out there available.
Do receive a few channels from the circular sats but the lost channels from the linear way offsets any gain.
