Congrats! I hope to join the club soon as well! Did you install a standard package or did you upgrade some of the components?

Congratulations.

ONN is on 24/7. Try to do a BLIND SCAN (Power Search) and select ALL Channels instead of just FTA.

installation complete!

i installed a basic motorized system. i had a bunch of trouble at first but, having the active transponder on when aiming is imperative! that helped a bunch. also i thought the turning point in this was closely watching the way the mount is attatched to your mast. i used a level when tightening them up. it seemed like if you just randomly tightened it raised and lowered the dish elevation slightly. i paid close attention to how i was tightening them up. just evenly. i dont know for sure but it was the one thing i tried and it worked. even with play in my motor it seemed like once the thing was truely level it all fell into place. very little 1.2 used. it all landed pretty good with usals. after all the struggle it was so nice to watch the dish fall on all the sats one after another. so worth it. thanks for all the help.---steve

Congrats on your success!

With SBS6 and IA7 at pretty close to far ends of the arc from each other, there's a chance that your setup is still just a wee bit off; there's interaction between dish elevation and motor elevation that will "flatten" or "sharpen" the shape of the arc depending on settings. For example, I had to raise my motor a degree or two and drop the dish an equal amount (or was it the other way around?) to get it to sweep the entire Clarke Belt just right.

ONN, to the best of my knowledge is 24/7, as is White Springs. I'm confident that you'll get those locked in in no time!

Bob
