how do i program 6 sats

1m dish quad lnb disqc 4x1 viewsat ex. i got alot of good help here so far thanks to all. if i get 5-6 sats or more from my setup how does this setup on reciever.i read befor that the sats get set by diff transponder.but when i do that most of time the reciever changes it.i understand alot more then befor with seting the dish but im lost with this.i closed of 3 diff sats cause they wount program right????????

i guess this is a ruff question to answer.some 1 on other site said program them in your done.ya ok if t were that easy i woundent be asking this.........

It's not clear, whether you have a motor, I assume you don't.
Then you cannot receive a signal from "5 -6 sats", because your DiSEqC switch is limited to 4.
If, by "programming the sats", you mean getting the channels from these sats into receiver's memory, then, it's easy, when you get any signal from a satellite, make sure to get maximum of it by fine - tunung your dish assembly with very small movements. Then, when you see that signal is at its maximum, , i.e. when you see that movements up, down or any other direction mak signal worse, fix dish at this point. Perform a "blind scan" and all the channels will stay in receiver's memory after that.

yes i have a motor
1m dish
quad lnb
what i mean is yes i know how to get ch thats easy part .what i mean is how do i keep each sat in memory im watching sat 1 ok then i want sat 2 then so on till i get 6 or 7 that i can recieve. total 7 or 8 diff sats

Me too.

I would also like to know as I will be sat surfing with 2 receivers connected to 1 motor/240cm dish C/KU LNB combo form Sadoun and do not want to change settings every time I change a sat.

I don't know on your receiver but with my ultra once i select a satelite it puts a check mark beside the name of the sat and then i can put in the settings i want for tha sat and save it as long as the check mark is there it goes to that sat with the settings i put in.
