Red face Can a Dual Ku Lnb ASC322 (DMS) work?

Hello everyone!

I just wanna know which antenna is made for this Ku band LNB? I mean, is it made to fit a Channel Master Antenna or whatever antenna that uses DSS LNB's like DTV or Dish?

I have a doubt using it to get any Ku Linear Band with a motorized system because I wondered how it will get the correct LNB skew or tilt because it is not like ie. an Invacom Quad or Fortec Star or Sadoun Ku Linear LNB.

Hope you guys can help me!

? Why do you say that it isn't like an Invacom or Fortec lnbf? It's pretty much the same. It's a standard linear 10750 LO lnbf. Should work with any of the FTA dishes.

I mean

That the shape is not the same as the "normal" FTA Ku Linear Lnb's, the shape is more like a DSS Lnb.

Hey iceberg how can you get the tilt/skew on this Lnb? I suppose you can not move it since it is holded from its base, not from the neck like a "normal" Fortec Ku Linear FTA LNB. Or how do you have it installed on the antenna?

Hope you can help me.

what kind of dish are you working with?

Every dish I have used for FTA the LNB clamps on the neck which is easily skewable. Motorized dont need to be skewed. Just mount at 0

Talking So, here is the explanation...

I have a Channel Master 1.1m antenna, and it is designed to use with DSS Lnbs such as those for DirecTV. These Lnbs clamp on their base instead of the neck like the "normal" FTA Linear LNBs. If I use a "normal" neck clamping LNB I would need to adapt it so I can use it with this antenna.

I just want to know if I put one of this LNB (DMS International brand) on the Channel Master Antenna with a Stab-HH120 motor could work properly?

I hope you guys can get the idea!

I understand what you are saying, but when I looked up with google the LNBF you mention, I came up with a picture of one that has a neck to clamp to. It looks like it can also snap into a dish that connects at the base like a DTV dish too, but that won't keep it from working in a neck type clamp.
Even if you used it with a dish that had an arm that connected at the base, you could still use it with a motor, because you don't need to adjust skew when using a motor.
